Last Goodbye

Well, it's sad but true... The Drage Family Cabin is going to be sold =(
We were fortunate enough to have a "last hoorah" in it with all the family members that could attend. We were given memorabilia to help us remember and cherish the ol' place as well as the security of food storage. Gigantic THANKS to my Grandparents and Aunt Bonnie for all their hard work and for the beloved memories created there due to their giving ways. We will miss you Heber Cabin!!! <3

Swiss Days!

A Drage Family Tradition!
Since we are so luck to have a beautiful Cabin in the Heber Valley each year our Family goes up for Labor Day Weekend. While we are there we hit the oh so fun event of Swiss Days!!! We are always on the look out for the next great craft, eating best navajo tacos EVER and hilarious people watching. Thank goodness for Guardsman's Pass and having a sweet cabin to return to allowing us to beat all the traffic created. I already can't wait for next year ;D

Farmers Market!

Spring Break!

Typically when I hear the words Spring Break I think of warm days in Cali. However this year was just the opposite, cold days on the slopes snowboarding and slumber parties at the Heber Cabin. At least it was lots of fun despite the weather difference!!!

New Years Murder Mystery

We got to go to the fabulous EKadamy Awards Murder Mystery Party at the Bath Home for New Years this year and it was super fun! The lovely Jillian Bath (Sherlock Holmes) and others planned such a hilarious event with great prizes that I can't wait for the next. Jaron (Elton John) even got into it and dressed up (I was so proud of him).

Cooking Class

Jillian and I got to take a Holiday Appetizers cooking class at Harmons and oh man it was the most delicious stuff I have ever help make before in my life! We had such a fun time and recommend it to all.

The Theater

My Most Amazing Woman in the World Auntie Debera took me to The Lion King at Capitol Theater. I can't believe how much engineering goes into those costumes and the performance showed me how the theater truly is an Art. Thank you Debera for giving me some culture!

Jaron's Birthday

That's right today is my incredible husband's day of birth! He has to work so I decided to shower him with gifts throughout the day and then we get to go to dinner at his favorite place El Farol Mexican Restaurant tonight with his family to celebrate. He seems to be in a much better mood this year so I am super excited for him. I love you hunny!

Well I am VERY happy to report that even though Jaron had a headache he was in good spirits all evening enjoying dinner, family time and his birthday cake...

Twilight

I have never read the books, only know the story through girl talk at work and didn't enjoy the first movie much but last night I got to see Twilight's newest Eclipse and oh boy did I enjoy it! Jacob is the best part of it all because of his cocky humor, the story line was intriguing and  the action was captivating. I can't judge Jacob's attractive level though because my little brother looks just like him so when the rest of the girls are drooling over him I get a little ill. Despite this Jaron insists on calling me Jessica Moon and it drives me crazy, even to the point of biting him and then he says see you really are a wolf. I think it's more of a vampire thing to do but Edward is just odd looking. Jilly and I had the pleasure of sitting with a gap between us but we managed...  

Drage Family Game Night

For Christmas my parents came up with the great gift idea of giving good old fashioned board games to all the children and then having them commit to hosting a Game Night. It has been so much fun each month and brought us all closer now days because this is what we use to do when we were kids. The picture above is April Game Night hosted by Mandy Sue Read and family. Her homemade food is ALWAYS delicious and they have a very cherished horse shoe pit. We played Battle of the Sexes and Apples to Apples Jr, SO fun, the girls won the first game and the Jr version is great when you don't want to think too hard. Hope to see more of you next month dear family!!!
